Over 300,000 more Americans supported Hillary than Obama. She won more votes than any other candidate in primary history in either party. No one complained when Jesse Jackson's name was on the ballot. No one complained when Ted Kennedy took his candidacy through the convention in 1980 against a sitting democratic President. He was over 700 delegates behind at the time. And by the way, he never campaigned for Carter during the General. Is it that the DNC can't stand to see a woman come that far? I think the answer is obvious. Their actions speak volumes.

More than ever, we must stand up and be counted - all 18 million of us. We're still here. We're listening. And we're not going away. This is not over by a long shot! Obama has been "selected" not elected. The Democratic Nominee is not elected until August 15th. That is why we are taking it to Denver - to the Democratic Convention. As of current, Senator Hillary Clinton's name is still on the ballot. The job of the Super Delegates is to choose which candidate is best for our country. Super Delegates have the right to change their mind, and vote against whom they have publically endorsed. It is not over unless we give up. (Currently: Howard Dean is trying to find methods to remove Hillary Clinton's name from the ballot for the Democratic Convention) We will not rest until we hear from the Democratic party and its nominee about how they will:

an example letter that you can copy or modify to send to Howard Dean & the DNC by mail/email:
The Obama campaign and many of the Democratic Party’s leaders have rationalized positions that have blocked the realization of that very goal and its underlying principles. During the nomination process, Senator Obama and his campaign did not support counting all the votes in Michigan and Florida, did not accept a compromise plan that would have allowed new primaries in those states, and completely ignored the voters in states like Kentucky and West Virginia.
At the same time, the DNC and other powerful committees of the party did not investigate evidence of fraud or alleged disenfranchisement of entire groups in states that used caucuses to choose their delegates, did not apportion Michigan’s delegates appropriately as called for by the party’s rules (indeed, the RBC took four delegates from one candidate and gave them to another), and did not protest the many instances of media bias against and belittling of Senator Hillary Clinton until after the part of the nomination process involving primaries and caucuses had been completed and after many automatic delegates endorsed Senator Obama based on the results of those primaries and caucuses.
Your call for a 50-states strategy was based on an important principle of the Democratic Party that would enable us to elect Democrats to positions of power at all levels of our government. My concern now stems from what has happened to the principles that form the basis of our processes for speaking to our leaders and, indeed, for choosing them.
In effect, the party’s nominee was selected and advanced by means of a series of inappropriate actions and inactions. As a result, many deeply devoted Democrats, who, like me, have proudly called ourselves Democrats over the years and who have supported Democratic candidates with our votes and donations, are greatly distressed by a process that has amounted to abandoning our party’s principles of full democratic participation and fair reflection.
Sincerely,

Puma Democrat

WomenCount PAC

WomenCount PAC was created on May 12, 2008. Their story is one of passion and determination. A group of women who had traveled together around the country to campaign for Hillary Clinton were feeling frustrated about calls for her to withdraw from the race.
They quickly set up WomenCount, a political action committee, to “ensure that the 51 percent of American citizens who are women have their values and votes counted in the political process.” Within 24 hours, they had nearly $100,000 in contributions, and within 48 hours, they had over $200,000. They were able to run ads in USA Today, the New York Times, and regional papers in Kentucky and Oregon. Contributions ranged from $20 to $5,000.
Their ads – and their story – have been featured on CNN, Good Morning America, the Today Show, Fox, local news, and the list goes on. In print, they appeared in Time magazine and the New York Times, among others. Click here to see some of those press clips.Click here to visit WomenCount PAC web site.

Help Reduce Hillary's Debt
I do encourage you to support Senator Hillary Clinton in her bid for the presidency. She loves this country and its people very deeply, and it shows in her words and work. Research shows that she would make an excellent leader in all respects.
